Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic immune condition that inflammation of the esophagus, the tube the connects the mouth to the stomach. Those with EoE may find certain triggers, specifically foods, that worsen the condition. If left untreated, EoE can eventually cause strictures and fibrosis of the esophagus, leading to serious consequences. Reintroducing FODMAP Foods

There are two distinct phases of the low FODMAP protocol. The first is the elimination phase that may last anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. The second is the reintroduction phase that may last about 10 weeks. It is vital to understand how to move through each of these phases in order to maximize your experience and results on the low FODMAP diet.
