I had a great time speaking this past weekend at the Center for Integrative Medicine’s 2016 Health & Wellness Conference. My presentation, an action-packed review of research, covered diet, supplements, fitness, and lifestyle.  I literally felt I could have presented on this topic for 10-hours. However, I gave the audience an abundance of information about the latest research trends in this field. In a 4-part article series, I will provide you with research updates and my personal take on this hot topic. It seems we are all waiting for the “next best thing” in weight loss and this vicious cycle sets us up for weight loss failure. Attempt after attempt not only messes with our bodies, but also with our heads! The research is always changing and it is important to stay up to date. I will present to you the current research based on high quality, human trials. I’ll go over fact from fiction so you can an approach that works best for you!
