My G I doctor advised me to contact a nutritionist. Erin has ordered tests (comprehensive stool analysis and MRT food sensitivity test) that have revealed the cause of a 43 year problem. We are working together to come up with the best treatment. I have seen some good results so far. Taking those results, she has made recommendations for diet and other treatments, such as Probiotics and detox supplements. I would recommend Erin to my family and friends.
My daughter has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). [Erin’s work is] perfect. She’s brilliant. She’s professional. She is research based, quick to respond, collaborative and deeply trained in medically based pain/weight conditions. She’s eloquent and compassionate. She’s our life saver. Her exceptional expertise is like none other. Having been in the field of working with adults and children with disabilities and neurogenic conditions Erin is a master of her area of expertise…she provides a plethora of support and resources and is exactly what all patients need who suffer with weight/food sensitivity/pain conditions.
I met with Erin to improve my immune health linked to digestive issues. Erin has showed me how to eat towards better health! Over the past 6 months I’ve had less colds / sinus infections and feel great. My digestion has significantly improved.
I made an appointment with Erin to discuss my IBS and constipation issues and get help on implementing the low FODMAP diet. Erin is great. She is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and has a lot of resources that she is able to share. Erin had other suggestions for me to try and was always available via email to answer questions. I will continue to work with Erin as needed and I would recommend her friends and family members.
I worked with Erin last summer to help me with symptoms of IBS and anxiety. We approached my problem from many angles, got lots of testing done and came up with a personalized plan together that helped me eliminate many of my symptoms. Erin was so friendly and knowledgeable. She responded quickly to emails and requests. I certainly recommend working with her!
I was extremely exhausted and had extreme fatigue. I basically felt like I had the flu for months! (Without the fever) and my stomach was very bloated. I looked to be about 6-7 months pregnant. When working with Erin, I was extremely impressed that not only did she quickly assess the situation and ordered the appropriate tests, but she stood toe-to-toe with my internist as to why I needed them. Her diagnosis was spot on ….and my dr. called to apologize to me.
I made my appointment with Erin after a discussion with a friend (who also works Erin). I expressed a desire to meet my nutritional and weight-loss goals and was recommended to Erin due to her expertise and warm spirit. It has been a great decision since day one. I have been struggling with weight loss since childhood. It is a hard battle and struggle for me. I found my experience with Erin to be an open and honest dialogue. She helps me understand why I do the things I do and ultimately she encourages me that my journey be it long is due able. She makes me feel like we can do this together. Since I have been with Erin, which has been about two months, I have loss over 10 pounds. It is important to point out I lost most of my weight over both Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. I am encouraged by progress and committed to meet my weight loss goal. It takes a Village and I am thankful to have Erin apart of my village.
I really wanted to change my lifestyle and become more deliberate in making healthy choices. I realized that this wasn’t a feat that I could do by myself. I wanted to find a nutritionist who I could talk to and explain my current lifestyle so that they could guide me on a more personalized journey to a better life! Working with Erin has been absolutely wonderful and life changing. We keep a monthly check-in during which we discuss the previous month, including any challenges and setbacks as well as prepare for future issues such as holiday time (Thanksgiving and Christmas especially, LOL). We set goals for the next month and then touch base. She is extremely accessible via email or through her blog and she just holds a plethora of knowledge to changing into a healthier lifestyle. Erin is a super cheerleader. There is never a time I leave her office feeling dejected or defeated. Even those times I don’t lose weight or perhaps gain, she always has a positive spirit and encourages you to keep going! I have steadily lost weight since finding Erin and it hasn’t come back! She stresses not only losing but also maintaining. Being able to talk with her on personal issues or concerns is a huge help as there is only such much Googling a person can do!
My experience with Erin has been amazing. Her advice, input and overall support has allowed me to pay closer attention to my health and nutrition. I have never been so focused and dedicated to my nutritional intake prior to working with Erin. She changed my whole way of thinking as far as nutrition goes by explaining in detail how health and nutrition impacts your overall health and well being daily. She also showed me how, with a few minor adjustments, changes can be made to the point of which you actually see and feel the results.
I have enjoyed getting to know Erin. She has helped me in so many ways and I feel great because of her recommendations. Erin has put together a plan for me that has been easy to follow, and I have been seeing positive results. I feel healthy and great about my self.
Erin has done a great job with me. I have learned so much and have changed many things in my life. I never thought of going gluten free and it has been a blessing. I have come so far and plan to keep going. I still stumble a little but just keep on and I get back in it after no time.
I had been up and down with my weight and was having problems with acid reflux and classified as being prediabetic. I wasn’t able to make any progress on my own, so I thought I would try a nutritionist to see if those services would help me get on track. Erin was very friendly and easy to talk to. She assured me she had been able to help people in my situation. She asked me what my goals were and talked about different approaches that could work for me, with the focus on making permanent lifestyle and eating changes. She has been very encouraging even when I got off track, and helped me find ways to motivate myself. I initially told Erin I wanted to lose about 23 pounds to reach a goal weight of 155. I have actually reached 150 pounds and am focusing on maintaining that. I eat better, feel better, and look better. We took things in stages to help me build better habits, and that is helping me in this maintenance phase.”
I made an appointment with Erin because I was looking for help with weight loss and managing some gastrointestinal issues. Erin has been excellent from the beginning. Before even meeting her she spent 45 minutes on the phone with me going over my lifestyle, concerns and goals. After the initial call she sent me a lot of information on her services. At our first meeting she spent more time getting to know me and my needs. On weeks when I do not have a face-to-face or phone appointment she sends me an email that is like “homework.” Erin has been very encouraging through the whole process. I’m on my way [to meeting my nutrition/health goals] because of Erin!
Three months ago, I reached out to Erin out of sheer desperation. Over a course of just one month, I developed intolerance to almost all foods and was feeling miserable. At that point I had lost 15 lbs, was fatigued and malnourished and could barely sleep. I had already seen a GI specialist and had had endoscopies and abdominal ultrasound done with no abnormal findings.
Erin did an initial assessment with a stunning precision and thoroughness – something that in the busy and rushed world of healthcare practitioners you do not experience often any more. In addition to immediately pinpointing the causes of my acute GI problems, Erin has gone a step further and recommended I read a bit more about a condition that she thought might be the deeper cause of my overall health decline. That opened up a brand new perspective to my years-long medical issues that many primary care physicians or specialists could not identify over the course of the 15 years.
Thanks to Erin’s nutritional guidelines, I immediately started feeling better and within just a few weeks, my diet expanded to a wider variety of foods and it has been steadily expanding to this day. Also, thanks to Erin, I started addressing other issues that I was keeping on the back burner for years, like chronic insomnia, very high cholesterol and virtual lack of exercise. Because the real cause of my illness was finally addressed, the years-long fatigue, sleep issues and fibromyalgia-like symptoms diminished significantly. Over the past 3 months I went from almost no ability to exercise or do physical work, to daily yoga and performing my daily chores with much more ease.
Erin practices in a virtual office, meaning she meets with her clients via Skype. For those who are skeptical of this setting, I must say, I was initially skeptical too, but then I quickly realized that this idea is brilliant. It cuts the commute time, the bad weather does not cause you to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you do not have to live in the same town with Erin to be able to use her fantastic skills and knowledge. It is even better than “live” appointment.
Erin’s approach is very professional, yet with lots of compassion and gentle guidance. She does not judge or criticize you and she always prepares very well for each appointment. She remembers all your issues and what you have already told her, so you do not have to repeat yourself. She is extremely resourceful and will give you plenty of new information, homework in between sessions, and easy-to-follow nutrition and lifestyle guidelines and suggestions. She will customize the recommendations to your personal needs and craft them even more if you have difficulties following them.

There is not enough that I can say about Erin’s great ethics, thorough methods, individualized approach to her work. She is one of the best health practitioners I ever worked with and one of rare few that actually helped me understand and address my health problems.
I made an appointment with Erin to prevent becoming Diabetic and address weight gain over the past 5 years. Erin gave me strategies to help change my learned behaviors or bad habits. She was very patient and didn’t make me feel bad when results didn’t come as quickly as we wanted. Instead she gave me other options and strategies that were better for me. Erin is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her client’s health and well-being.
Prior to the MRT/LEAP program, I felt that I had exhausted all of my resources when trying to improve my health and digestive issues. I had exhausted all of my options in terms of prescription medicine and was given the recommendation to see Erin and take a dietary approach to remedying my digestive and immune system issues. Until I met with Erin, I did not think that food sensitivity could be exacerbating my problem and through working with her, I realized how I could improve my immune system, digestive issues, and overall wellbeing by learning what works with my body through the MRT/LEAP elimination program. I was very pleased with the tailored program and the guidance I received from Erin. The elimination portion of the program was difficult, but was well worth it. I continue to utilize everything I learned on a daily basis and have even encouraged a few friends to look into the program due to my success. My health and wellbeing has improved tremendously. I did not realize how poorly my body was functioning due to my underlying health issue causing digestive issues, which turned into a ripple effect and caused my immune system to weaken and my energy levels to drastically drop. Since I started working with this program, my immune system has strengthened, my skin has significantly cleared up, and I have been sleeping better. I am much more in tune with my body and I am fortunately no longer in a state of discomfort and fatigue that I am able to make adjustments to my diet (based on the plan we created) and recover much more quickly if I eat a food that my body has become sensitive to.
I had severe reactions to traditional medicine. My acupuncturist’s recommended I try this. This program gets a 10 out of 10 regarding my satisfaction. My quality of life has been restored. Symptoms have almost disappeared. Stomach pains have been greatly reduced. Diarrhea under control. Can resume travel schedule. Major dark spots on my face are slowly disappearing. Awesome.
I was desperate to find a solution to help me feel better. I was overwhelmed trying to manage symptoms of 3 newly diagnosed chronic conditions — Crohn’s Disease, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. I saw several medical doctors, who were not able to offer sufficient solutions. Medications were prescribed that did not produce sufficient results. I’m learning how to be creative when preparing good, clean whole meals that include my approved foods. This is from someone who dislikes preparing toast. It’s been very educational and beneficial to me.
